cccullen here is a little preview of your box...it is a new design i'm experimenting with...lets just say the response can be changed and tweaked.

I still have to fiddle with a the dimensions a little bit but it shouldnt take much longer.

So what's the tuning going to be like? You really know better than me so I will leave it all up to you.

Well there is more than one "tuning". This enclosure has some 1/4 wave characteristics as well as bass reflex.

    1/4 wave is 37Hz

Hey can someone please design me a ported box for my 2 15" fusions? I'm in no rush bc I'm not planning on starting this until I get some warm weather again but the dimensions are
    Width- 46IN
    Depth- 26IN
    Height- 20IN

    Thanks T.J.

This sub does require alot of air space. The manufaturer recommends around 3.25 cu ft each. So for two subs you will need a large box.

You will need your 46-inches wide and 24-inches deep. The height will need to be around 16-1/2-inches tall. As for the port, we will need it to be 15-inches tall by 5-inches wide. The length will be 15 to 16 inches long.

For a construction methed please refer to the thread "How to build a Box".

bringin back a dead thread i guess, but azn i need your help bro. i am looking for a design for 2 10's. about 100RMS to each. it is going into crossover type thing. he wants loud bass. the subs are RFZ1810's. if you can help me out. let me know. i wil get you measurements tomorrow. i think this enclosure shoud be something different. maybe a horn or t-line of some sort. maybe even a bandpass....

the dimensions that we got to work with is 40" wide, 16-17" tall, and 19-20" deep. have some fun with this one azn. we r lookin to try about anything.

I'll see what I can do. I have an RFZ108...ported 1.5 cu ft each tuned to 35Hz is a good start.

But I think they would do work in a little t-line
