Check this out, we have this customer that hangs out at the shop. So we put him to work. He has built around 10 boxes for us. He came into the shop the other day with a sheet of MDF and cut this out for a buddy of his. Not Bad. Four 12-inch woofers and a 10-inch vent. I bet its loud.
Both 8-inch and 10-inch are hard to find. The 10-inch I have came from a customer who works in construction. I only have about 4-feet left, but it should last a little while.
OK, its done. And this thing is insane loud. It actually skips the Pioneer CD player. They actually had to turn the gain on the amp down so that it wouldn't skip the CD player so bad. OMG, its still loud. And he's doing this with a 900 Watt Class D amp. I cann't wait to hear it with the 1400-Watt Class D. I've built Boxes with two 15-inch Planet Big Bangs and 2500-Watts and he is just as loud, maybe a little louder. FINALLY, a customer that has a clue. He is listening to me and time to invest in an iPod, it won't skip.
Yes it is. Very I've always been a big fan of this woofer. They are solid performers and they never disappoint. Many people feel that the more they spend on a woofer the better it is, WRONG. These woofers will hang with woofers costing 2 and 3 times more. The customer that owns this box will testify to that fact.
I bet its insane. I wonder how 4 DC level 4s in a box with that design would sound in my ranger with 1000 watts a piece.
Yes, thats right. The older PB's Did Not perform as well in a ported box as these. But both tend to be really reliable. I really like this woofer. Remember, I'm talking about the S-series 10s and 12s. We carried the 15s for a short period of time, and we were disappointed in the 15s. But the 10s and 12s always delivered. There is another customer with three 10s. But I have not heard it yet.
