Equalizer or Components

    Ok i need an opinion on which to get first. I could get the PG RSD's or another similar comp set and use the 5 band parametric EQ on my HU for now OR... I can use the memphis power Ref coax's i have in the front now and get an EQ to help tune it a good bit further than i can now. I'm thinking that Components would make it sound alot better than keeping the coax's and i can tweak it with the 5 band parametric i have on my radio. Ok another question: Where is the best place to place my tweeters from the component set? (see attached picture) either place i place them would be the close to the same distance from my ears. So would it be any different imaging wise?

    comps. and can you mount the tweets in the sail panel?

    Sail panel is the panel on the inside of the side mirror right? and no sadly i can't mount them there.....Stupid non-electric side-view mirror on the other side has the lever on the driver side......

    how about just in front of the door handle, but the a pillar is good too.

    yeah, you can mount the tweets in the sail panels or right on the dash. Best thing to do is play around with the tweeter positions and see what you like best. The nice thing about the tweets being in the sail panels is that when you open the doors for outside listening the sound will be loud and clear while if on the dash you won't hear much outside...

    Thanks for the input guys just counted my savings (in change XD) and i have more than enough for the comps so ill order them in a day or two
