second place! w00t w00t!

    i went to a USACi comp tonight, and placed second in the 600-1800 watt stock 1 class! my average was 142.1 but my loudest run was 146.7 (they take an average) i took my normal 2 30 second runs with my back seat in (doesnt fold down) and my cd player skipping like a mofo, so i tore my back seat out and ripped my deck out of my dash and then paid for another run, the guy above me beat me by 1.2 db running 4 10" kicker L7's in a burp box...

    so apperently the RE enclosure calculator isnt TOO bad (thats how i calculated my box)


    i wish i had pics and vids.... but i was only able to get one pic in before my stupid camera died, and that was just of all the trophies

    Congrats!!! 146.7??? that's phuckin sick Gohilla.

    That sucks about videos and pics man. Try to post some pics of your trophy.

    How i wish I could get a score like that. So, are now the man around here. Unless, someone has beat that, which i seriously doubt!

    phuck....i think i burned up one of my subs..... it has a very slight rattle...i knew i shouldnt have juiced them as much as i did, oh well rebuild kits are only 80.00.

    im sure someone on here is hitting harder than me for sure....no way a n00b to the forum beat out everyone....

    Nice congrats !! Well you beat out pedro haha, that's all that matters! Not many people here have posted about highest db. I haven't had mine measured yet haha...Nice score though, what subs and amps you running again?

    yup, you did beat out pedro.

    there's going to be an EMMA competition here in May, too bad I won't have my stuff in by that time. Damn, i wanted to join. Oh well, I'm gonna go and get some pics and videos so I can post them up here.

    that hummer parked beside me hit 149.7 with 2 jl audio w7's with 2 1200w rms hifonics amps, metering was done in the kick with a TL

    sweet numbers.

    you beat my score by a lot, but i only have 1 10.:)

    wonder what i could post with my 12's @ 1ohm with 600 watts.:lol:

    what song did you play?

    oh a lot of guys i know play with their decks in their hands. zero skipping;)

    oh yeah back seat down helps.as does no pass seat or it being reclined all the way back.;)

    shoot i should have done that too.:( may have helped.

    oh well next time i'll have my tracks and sub placement tricks refined.:cool:

    I started my run at 38hz, then tracked up to about 49hz it hit the highest at 43-44hz

    hmmmm if you remove your rear speakers and deaden the rear panel a lot you wont have to ripp out the back seat. maybe?

    hehe.....i alread have something else in mind....and again....it involves a new setup (i cant leave well enough alone) lets just say....the back seat will no longer pose a problem.....hehe, i plan on starting the build in about a month or so ::snickers quietly to self::
