Hey guys I just put two 12" L7's in my mustang with a 1600 watt hifonics amp. Everything works except on big problem.... the subs dont move... They make bass an all, but it has to be cranked up, nothing like what they should. If I crank it all the way up, the subs still BARELY move, I mean its hard to notice just by looking at it. I used a LOC with my stock head unit and followed this write up...
Tech- Add-on subwoofer install into 03 Cobra Vert using factory Mach 460 stereo - SVTPerformance

Did i do something wrong or whats going on? I look at the videos on youtube of 12"L7's and those things are pounding? What am I missing?

are they dual 4 ohms subs wired in parallel for a 1 ohm load, and you have the amp bridged..?

Yes dual 4 ohm. And they are wired like that but i do not have the amp bridged. Its a mono amp but it does have 2 speaker outputs... so can it be bridged? What would I need to do?

it's a BXI1606D. It kinda actually looks like a 2 channel amp but it is a D class mono, it has two sets of positive and negative terminals for speakers. Should he just bridge it (outer most positive and negative)?

wire it like its a 2 ch. get one sub and wire it into 2 ohms put it on one of the terminals and repete for the other. it makes it simple for adding more than one sub.

its not a 2ch just a mono amp with 2 terminals

it's not bridgeable but it should be pumping 1600 watts rms. You'd probably notice them move then lol.
