Does anyone know how I can delete a folder that always says "Access is Denied?"

Make sure you have the folder closed and nothing open that's inside the folder. Do you know what the folder is?

Haha, i know a lot about computers. Its not a stupid problem, its pretty complicated. I've downloaded a few programs and none of them do it. And I've also tried to delete it in safe mode. and no dice.

Me neither, so did you put the folder on your computer or did it just appear there one day.

close every program that you dont absolutely need or just close all but explore. and that might help.

I made the folder a LONG time ago and then my computer got reformatted but the folder was still there.

I think the reason it was still there was because the folder was located on my "data drive" A secondary drive on my computer.

Restart your computer in Safe Mode, F8 that will load only basic stuff, that will allow you to delete the folder. If you still can't delete it by right clicking on it then drag it into the Recycle Bin then empty it and restart normally.

    Have you tryed Killbox?
    KillBox.Net

Make sure its something you really wanna get rid of.

Download the Killbox and save it to the desktop.
Double-click the KillBox icon on your desktop to open it
Select the box Delete on Reboot
Add the file that needs to go.
Click the red x [Delete File] button.
Click Yes at the Delete on Reboot prompt. Click No at the Pending Operations prompt

If the computer does not reboot on it's own, restart it yourself

I have always found KillBox works best when deleting on reboot.

After use delete KillBox and the file it creates with the deleted info
    It should be in C:/!killBox

well u say its on a second drive, so does that mean its on a second physical drive or its on a second partition on one hard drive? is there only one folder thats giving u this issue or are all the files and folders of that drive giving u problems?

    I have two drives. RAIDed

The folder is just ****ing me off. There's nothing in it. but for some reason it won't let me do anything with it.

It's just this one folder. Nothing else is wrong.

    Thanks guys.

lol shiatt, well do u know the individual size of each drive? if the space reported is double that of each drive individually then it is RAID 0. if the space reported is the same amount as one of the drives then its RAID 1
