13 police cameras are up around the city of Toronto, starting today Big Brother is watching, This is the beginning of the end of our privacy. Someone must stop this or we are all screwed. There has been shootings and stabbings and whatever like crazy here and it's getting out of hand but this is not the way to stop it. Just an excuse to get the cameras up and watching. Imagine 10 years from now, a camera every building, rooftop or lampost everywhere. What the hell are the cops gunna do as your sister is getting raped? what are the cops gunna do as your car is getting jakced? what are the cops gunna do when someone stabs a knife in your gut??? Lets get REAL!!!!!! The ONLY thing cops do is INVESTIGATE AFTER THE CRIME!!!!!....They are almost NEVER there EXACTLY when you need them.... When will the goobermints realize this???? phucking jesus christ on a pogo stick.....when will the sheeple of this world realize that the only way to stay protected is through arming ones self??????? The toronto goverment can take their cameras and shove them up their arse. I dont want ANY government taking care of me or mine...i dont want any of this so-called "help" the are dishing out. Little hovering cameras that roam around, face recognition software, microchips embedded under your skin. Come on people open your eyes. This is a test, if this goes through then it opens the door for everything else.
Actually i don't think it will ever end, there's just too much going on now and that just gives them the excuse to do these kinds of things without the public really climbing on the governments butt. Microchips embedded under your skin? I'm willing to bet that will happen in our life time. Just goes to show that the more clear and present danger society brings just gives the government all the more reason to watch everything closer. I just see it getting worse before it gets better. Even still, despite all of that i still would not hesitate moving back which i am planning to do within the next year or so. It's been way too long for me and i'm already itching to go back. I guess you just have to take the good with the bad, the good still outweighs the bad many times over.
It's still bull****. So we have to sacrifice our privacy because of a few **** ups. It's a personal privacy issue and if we give that up now we are screwed, no two ways about it.
I hear you, are their any groups protesting the cameras? Maybe you should get involved, wouldn't hurt to take a look.. i understand the privacy issue, im behind you on that. I bet i would be pretty ****ed if i were in your position. To this day i still hate getting frisked when entering a shopping mall where i live. Oh, also if i want to watch a movie in a theatre, you get frisked. The way i deal with it? Haven't seen a movie in 5 years. Mall??? what mall, i only go to the mall if i absolutely HAVE to. My rights here (in the Philippines) since i am an American citizen are nill. I don't have much of a choice. I do know how you feel, believe me. It's frustrating, VERY frustrating.. Exercise your rights and fight against it, you never know it may work.

whoa, are you sure about that lol. i agree them using every excuse possible for cameras and profiling and blah blah, but the trade towers came down from airplane fuel melting the entire floor, floors, melting cement steel everything, then the shear weight took down the rest from top to bottom like dominoes, i can see how it would look like it was planned, the way they fell but i say NO WAY.
bonestein says some things that are documented n video which I have seen myself..... The WTC did come down in a most unorthodox way. Was it a conspiracy, big brother, terrorists, even our own government?????? we may never know the real truth...... I tend to think from what I have seen that the towers fell due to a means other than the actual plane crash, what with photos of cut beams from c-4 and other controlled charges, and the fact that as the towers fell, small plumes of explosives were seen detonating as the tower fell..... Of course, there may be other explanations.....
that's a little nuts, i've never heard that. There is a lot at stake though, just like oil. What a stupid world we live in, nice if you live a sheltered life but the big picture is pretty screwed up and it just keeps getting worse.
