I have a kenwood head unit i bought and i hooked it up and it is requesting that i enter a code what would that code be or how would i find out ????????????
got it figured out i have ta go too a service center and decode it it gonna cost me 50+tax but not bad cause i only payed 15 for the unit and it a 300 dollar unit
just bought from where?- I'm guessing from an individual, right? it is a 4 digit anti-theft code that is programmed into the HU.. cheap way out? (buy one off of ebay with no faceplate..) and tell your friend to stop swiping stereo's just kidding..
nah it not stolen he just threw all tha warranty box and instructions away thats why he sold it ta me for 15 bucks and it only like 4 or 5 months old
15 dollars for a 300 unit. he sold it cause he threw the instructions and box away, thats lame. Cant you just go to Kenwoods website and look up the manual. esp if its a newer HU. Im sure there is some easy way to overide the security code.
I went ta web site and all i got was the nearest service centers and stuff so i called and each head unit has its own personal code and i have ta have it decoded for 50 plus tax and they said it will only take bout 20 min ta do
so they guy didn't know that it has an anti theft device which requires a code so he desides to just sell it for 15 bucks to his buddy.. is this A) oops I forget to write down my code oh well ill just get rid of it... or B) damn this cd player I jacked won't freaking work.. man.. dude you want this thing for 15 bucks? its really nice!.
