Way back in the early 90's I worked at a Pro Car Stereo install shop. My main job was on the PC designing boxes for cars. I ended up using LEAP software and LMS equipment to measure speaker parameters along with car interior resonance. My specialty was bandpass boxes looking for highest SPL output for the bass happy costumers. However I have done all forms of enclosures in cars and houses with speakers up to 27"! Anyway it is interesting to see what new stuff is out there since a lot of the great companies seem to have been bought out and went to crap
I currently use BassBox Pro 6, a good program. But alot of my research material always references LEAP 4.1. I have not heard much from Audio Teknology Inc in a few years. I wonder if the program is still available. Its crossover analysis capability was unparalleled. Back in those days programs like Boxmodel by Bullock, LMP and Quickbox by Sitting Duck Software were the programs. But all of them together could not do what LEAP could do. Finally glad to meet someone else who has heard of LEAP.
