Mitsubishi Eclipse Big "3" help

i should be getting my 1/0ga kit in the mail any day now but i was wondering if i just upgrade the battery ground just for now will i run into any problems? i have a 99 Mitsubishi Eclipse non turbo and doing the big 3 looks kind of hard to do..... anyone that alrdy did the big 3 on there Eclipse can help me out please.... some pics would really help
