God Damn It Fedex

    So on Tue I order special Clamps for a Railing Install for my Dish Network Sat. system..

    Installer will be here Sunday..

    Tue Morning I Order the Prodoct

    Fedex Picks the box up at about noon Tue..

    7PM there is a Message in Tracking saying "bar Code unreadable bar code replaced"

    Suppose to be Delivered the 8th...

    so the 8th comes and goes no new tracking messages

    This morning Nothing...

    So I call Fedex.....

    and get no where.. They will call me back in 24-48hrs. which does not no good since I have to have the brackets by sunday, and tommorow is friday the last possible day for delivery.....

    God damn Bastards.. Nothing can go right for me latly.......

    I think Comcast Hijacked the Box :D :aurgue:

    what brackets do you need? installer is supposed to provide everything. Even the concrete if its to be placed in the ground :) then again you used a 3rd party installer. so maybe they are different. PS 3rd party installer sucks at installing so watch them with an eye.

    Well installing a dish isn't the hardest thing you'll do in your life... unless of course the problem you have is no time. Otherwise professional installation is a waste IMO.

    that is not true

    only basic installion in included, and SBC uses the same installers as Dish, it is not like I bought it as Best Buy or some Retailer,

    Using SBC is just like using dish, the systems are linked

    Concrete and any thing Extra the installers charge for.

    and I talked a a few installers and no one ever heard of these brackets before

    these are not dish network products,

    Hopelly they can throw it on a plane and get it here so I can pick it up on Sat.

    damn man, sorry I've not been around, Is it being shipped fedex ground or air? I'm assuming ground. I'd try to get ahold of someone inchargeish at the terminal it's currently at or scheduled to arrive at and tell them your deal. see if they can possibly have it air-expressed to you. They are actually 2 seperate companies, jsut closely related, but they've got seperate trucks, etc. Basically fedex ground is what used to be RPS... Anyway, goodluck, let me know if you have any further probs or need some inside know-how atleast. Bare minimum I can put it through the terminal tracking system which gives a much more detailed disposition... If I'da caught this earlier I might've been able to help you out a bit (I work for fedex ground)

    yea I know about the Seperate companies thing

    Orgianlly I was going to do 2day air, but it was only going from Illinoise to Indiana, I just trackied it again, it has not moved

    I have called 3 times now...

    I highly highly doubt at this point it will be here in time

    well it looks like it might make it....

    it is on a truck to indiana, so hopefully I can atleast pick it up Sat from the Hub.................

    Well you have to wait for whenever the appointment is, for one thing. If those clamps don't make it you'll probably have to reschedule, whereas you could just do it whenever if you were doing it yourself. I just don't really like relying on other people where i don't have to.

    Well if I did not get it installed I would have to wait for the Recivers and Stuff to be Shipped to me so......

    and if the Clamps dont make it I will probally have him just leave the stuff and put it in myself....

    Really the only thing I was Worried about was Picking up Both birds with the one dish... some people say it is a pain and others say it is easy

    the last dish I did was back when you only need one bird........................

    Ya I already had two dishes so i just used them both... i'd need a bigger one to use a single dish I suppose that could be tricky.

    well it looks like Comcast will get one more damned week...

    Fedex Customer Service Flat out Lied to me

    the Bitch I talked to Fri assured me it would be here for pickup

    when I called today to check it is not, and always was, Dec 16th :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :ranting:

    I am not a happy camper when it comes to fedex,

    So now I will not be doing anymore business with them PERIOD....

    UPS Sucks

    USPS Sucks

    Fedex now Sucks apparently

    I guess DHL will be getting my Business.....

    and to be fair it is not the fact that is was misshipped, it is the fact that every person I talked to, except today, that is 5 people has flat out LIED to me just to get me off the phone.. that is what PISSES me off.....

    Well i dont know what to say, they did all the work, including concrete and all, no charge. Additionally rewired my house, cause the cable company left it a mess. Now the dish guys drive "dish trucks" If these items, have not been provided, then your 3rd party. Just for shits and giggles, i called dish and asked about these....... Sir, The item you are requesting is a requirment by most of our superdish installations, If you currently request that locals be added to your service, this bracket will be included at no additonal charge, when the installers come" Is there anything else? yes I was calling to check for a friend. "sir, please have your friend call the toll free # and speak to one of our representatives. I say he purchased dish via 3rd party..... Sir, he will then have to contact his 3rd party company (IE SBC) cause we no longer provide support for 3rd party installations.....

    lol,

    First did you ask about SBC or did you say "thrid party" the deal between SBC and dish is TOTALLY differant than say Radio Shack or a Normal Retailer......

    as far as what Dish Said, I talked directly to DISH NETWORK (not thrid party) installers and that is what THEY told me......


    We will find out in a few hours...

    if he has them, I will return the ones I bought

    No Big Deal.....

    it is not like they cost me a WHOLE lot to begin with, $20

    I waste more than that everyday.................................

    they are suppose to be here between 8am and noon today so I will post as soon as that are done (if they can do it) weather they where in a "dish" truck

    I was told that when you order through SBC your ording through Dish direct per the deal they have, unlike a retailer.......

    but this would not be the first time I might have been lied to, so it would not surprise me any :unsure:

    Now No Dish till Dec 24th

    you know I just had a good Idea

    if a Bitch can sue walmart because a CD has the word fuck on it.

    How about I start a class action Lawsuit against fedex for everyone that has misshipped packages that cost them money

    Actually, i believe bestbuy (my employee) is doing that with ups. For the last week, every one of our overnight shipments (plantinum service plan $500) supposed to back to customer in 7 days...............well ups has been taking 4-5 days for Am overnight :bash:
