Bush is signing a bill into legislation in a few days that will prohibit broaband companies from taxing the use of the internet like they do with cable television. This bill is in effect for 4 years. :)

actually that is incorrect, the broadband companies dont TAX anything, only a government can TAX something :p

the Bill he will be signing will prohibit states from taxing internet access, which I dont think Indiana does anyway so I it will not effect anything really...

I just cant wait to call COmcast,

this is my Christmas Present, :lmfao: :lmfao: :lmfao: :lmfao:

Dont forget the 10 day ramp up period SBC uses, you wont get full speed, or close to until the 10 days past.

I've had NetZero platinum for years now.
$9.99 and rock stable connections at 53.6K nearly every single time I connect.

Of course, if you are surfing for porn or music or videos, forget it.
But for forums and things - there's seriously nearly zero speed penalty compared to broadband.

But - I think CAT would run a little slower if it were hosted on a server that was connected via dialup. :p

lol, the server has AT MINMUM OC12 uploads, last I checked it was on a OC48 line for those that dont know

    # OC12 - 622 megabits per second
    # OC48 - 2.5 gigabits per seconds

Too bad I cant afford a OC48 to my apartment, then I could really get my Porn fix :lmfao: :lmfao: :lmfao: :lmfao: :lmfao:

Honstely I dont know, this is not something anyone will install in a Res. Area, PERIOD, not going to happen...

this is the stuff NOC (network operations Centers) use

OC3 lines cosgt anyway from $20,000 to $45,000 per MONTH so figure a OC48 to be atleast 2x that
