My shop sells blau, and I will say that they seem to be randomly nice. some units have awesome displays/controls, etc and sound liek crap, others seem flimsy, but function well. The montecarlo is one of the suprisingly stunning units. I much prefer it to the next 2 up the line as far as sound and layout.

I also sell pio, kenood, sony, eclipse... Of them, personally, As far as purist companies. I'd get an eclipse if you can find one. Not likely if you're net-shopping, but even their lowend are simple, clean and nice, not to mention very reliable, and of excellent soundquality. Thatsaid, guess what one we sell more of? you got it sony *ugh* I try... Sometimes I manage to get through. The rest of the time, if ppl are happy with racecars and brushed aluminum, then let them be happy I spose.

Tell you what, mike, I went to CC today,a dn looked at the panasonics, the JVC's, and the sony I like, and to completely honest with you, from the exterior at least, the sony actually seems like it's the one thats built best. the guy there aid the jcv's mre often than not that come back come back because they ate a cd. Honestly, mike, I've checked them all out, I really think the sony is the best buy for the money. It's easy to use, good looking, doesn't feel cheap when you touch it like the rest of them. I'll probably go with that, unless somebody can point me in the direction of an inexpensive eclipse.

better hope is does not break, you will NEVER get it fixed, Sony has the most inept service dept on earth.....

as far as JVC, your taking your advice from some Snot nose Kid at CC

That is like going to Burger King for Cooking Advice :lmfao: :lmfao: :lmfao: :lmfao:

but it is your money, Like I said I have not Used them in the last 2 years, but if your taking the risk BUY AUTHORIZED and I would recommend buying from CC or BB so you can just EXCHANGE it WHEN ;) it breaks

I'm not taking advice from anybody, i was just telling you what he says he has seen. Adn, JVC has never been known for lasting forever, but they are a good value for a budget HU, which, I dunno, I just don't like em. I might buy authorized, I'm gonna try and see if I can find somebody who works at BB or CC,and see if they can get either for me at a better price.

my JVC lasted 5 years before the Drive wnet out, Radio still plays fine but the CD's dont spin (damn plastic Gears)

I highly highly highly highly highly, did I say highly, recommend buying authorized with sony, you can get by unauthorized with the other brands but I would not risk it with sony.

That is the Reason I never Sold them, did not want the hassle of returns...

I could have made great profits off sony, but I choose not to carry them,
