Or so this guys says. If you guys want to have fun, here's the link. Geolemon I know will have fun offering his insight on horns in cars. Steven Kephart Adire Audio
i was more amazed at his claim of "Horns are as easy as it gets for good sq" i have known alot of people that have played around with horns and other 'exotics'. when done right, they can sound awesome, however, they are a pain in the azz.
HA HA HA HHAAHAH AHAH! Gheez you guys didn't know that. Brahmas suck! It's a good thing I didn't buy one. Boy what a fool I would have been. Good thing this guy set me straight.
I'd definitely agree that horns aren't easy to use in a car... not easy to install either... but they do offer good SQ when integrated properly.
Aw man, the topic was closed. And here I was waiting for him to tell Seth that he didn't know anything about cars; or Dan that he didn't know anything about speakers. :lmfao: You know what's funny, I probably could explain how that ampmeter works better than he could. Of course it's "over my head". At least I know how to use periods. Steven Kephart Adire Audio
I can't really say i agree with the one guy that horns are always harsh and directional....but at the same time they are hard to get sounding right. He's also comparing the Brahma to the IDMAX...and if it the IDMAX sound is the only type of sound he likes, then i can understand why he claims the Brahma is junk...the two sound entirely different. I would also take the IDMAX over the Brahma, but that's personal preference. I'd never go so far as to claim the Brahma is junk...
