I had to format my HD and I basically lost all my dance rap music....you know shit you hear at clubs, frats, parties..... I got like 50 off the top of my head but its no where near my last collection! Cmon guys help me out.....my life depends on this....lol Obviously these songs need great beats.....
What I said was very useful belive it or not I use to like some rap, until the "pimp" and "blig blig" movment, where every song is about "fucking this ho" or " rolling in my benz" et cetc
Untrue Mike, very untrue, you just need to stray away from the mainstream rap and go underground I dont listen to mainstream shit at all unless its for dance parties. The underground movement is big, smart, and simply amazing. Listen to: Swollen Members Sage Francis Aesop Rock Atmosphere Blackalicious Brother Ali Canibus Cage Cannibal Ox Immortal Technique Jedi Mind Tricks J-Live .......to name a few! Anyways, someone help me!
Old school... Beastie Boys... "fight for your right to party" is the original old-school rap party song! B) Run DMC... Sir-Mix-A-Lot... "baby got back"... that's a party tune if I ever heard one. Long live old-school! I'm definitely not a fan of gansta-rap either. :rifle:

I haven't heard the others at all, though... haven't honestly even heard of the others. If it's not "gansta rap" (god, i thought that got played-out 5+ years ago!!), I'll give it a try. Good bass?
Most of that stuff is not gangsta rap A lot of it is what I like to call "educated rap" rap where you need an education to understand their metaphors and really shinning lyrics Ill also be the first one to admit that I fell outta the rock scene a few years back but every time I try to come back it only makes me hate modern rock even more. All these new bands are such garbage that it just hurts me deep inside. They all sound exactly the same, the distrted guitar screeching kills my ears, and the screaming idiots in the background kill my mood. I still love older rock....back then these guys had talent. I want to give Janes addiction a shot though after watching the Carmen Electra and Dave Navaro show on mtv. Is the band good?
Oh god yes... "Ritual De La Habitual" is the one to start with, if you don't own any Jane's Addiction... That's truly "alternative rock" IMO... not like anything else, really... then or now... but not really that far out there either. A tough balance to usually find.
yes in deed...Janes Addiction....Alice In Chains...good stuff.... Need some good metal/industrius.... www.static-x.com All 3 of the cds so car are killer... rap.... Well....imma be a true memphis thug and say gotta get you some "lil john and the east side boyz" Got to get some Petey Pablo.... for the true down deep in ya... Then ya gotta get you some good old ICP... Beverly Kills will do... so will Milenko... Jugla jump from cloud to cloud ..ring them bells...ring them loud!...... And to top if off.... Twizted... "every one ov ya'll means everythin ta me, we bleed fa ya'll, das why we call it family...AX MURDERAAZ , WE DON"T DIE.....SERIAL KILLAZ, WE DON"T DIE....WE GET HIGH!!!!!!!, WE DON"T DIE!!!!!" :boxing:
