Maybe it'd be better if u stated the facts...but trying to NOT come off seeming like an asshole... or maybe you cant be bothered without candy-coating the whole issue and sometimes it's hard to get things thru without stating it the way u do sometimes it helps tho
No Mike, you didn't piss me off....all I did was answer the original question was that was given to me... your the one that seemed to not like the answer that was give, and you started to attack me for decisions out of my control. And all I stated was that I have to trust they will make the right decisions. B)

sorry if you don't like it...but seriously wonder why/how it will effect you, and why you feel it's a bad thing...was bringing Crutchfiled and SD online a bad thing? They do great for the area they cover, but those two don't cover 100% of the nation.
it will not effect me at all, in anyway but like I said, I DID (past tense) hold kicker as the company to compair all other manufacturers too, they/you seemed better as far a CONSUMER support goes, I am just "hurt" that it was all a big lie, and under neth it all your just another JL AUDIO AS far as SD and Crutchfield not covering the Nation, How so, Crutchfield I bet out sells all your other dealers by a good margin.. I figured it up once they they avgeraged like 1,000 orders a day from their web site alone and Like I said, it is not the fact your brought in another dealer, but you brought on in with NO online selling experance Forinstance, The Zeb, Audio Warehouse, or a host of others have been ONLINE FOR YEARS, and would LOVE to be authorized more than likly ( I know zeb would because they have been going that rought with all the other companies) and they have a LONG track record of GOOD ONLINE customer support P{lus I just got a "uneasy" first impression with him, and I have grown to trust my "feelings" when if come to peoples character
I have numbers, and no Crutchfield by FAR is not close to some brink/mortar stores...no even close...and you'd be very amazed how close SD and this dealer are in sales...and SD hs the nation as well. This store has just been in WA selling and doing very well. Experience on how well or not is being to fast and judgemental on your part. You already have it in your mind they won't do as good, with no history to judge it by. My point is leave it alone, and they will pave their own road to good, or rocky road to bad. How does consumer support go out the door? :blink: I would think more online dealers would reach more consumers for a good value....isn't that what you preached when you had your online store? You knock JL, DEI and others for stopping online sales, yet turn around and slam us and this guy for doing it?? :?: The ZEB going that route...of course, but when they started, they were un-authorized by many manufactures they were selling online. They had to get authorized, or drop off the face of the earth. But wanna argue this point if they are bad/good for consumers and economy..let's both give it some time before we try to 'judge' the future. I'm headed home..family time.
hmmm kicker must not a be a good brand for them then, but I know that overall sales are WAY up there again, SD has to compete with ALOT of other dealers, and has the dissadvangte of required higher prices, which turns off alot of the new online buyers, they dont have a local monoply I know the online consumers mentality, but your right, I was fast to judge, they have mad a BAD, no TERRIBLE first impression on me........ and that is ALL the matters okay dokie, me will let it drop, DEI does not stopp online sales, ANY authorized dealer can sell online, ANY, Like I told you, if you want to project a feeling for your online dealers a sense of exclusivity, then those dealers should have a strong background as ONLINE dealers, you selected Cructhfeild and SD becuase they were LEADERS in ONLINE selling, that is ALL they do.... if you want to switch, make as DEI type switch, all or none how so, manufactuers have a terrible history of being unable to stop online dealers, hell I even gave you the names of a few transhippers that showed up in your dealer database as authorized, and they still sell to this every day..... I bet they sell LOTS so the rep slaps them on the hand, proving once again sales figurers mean NOTHING in this type of market and I know one guy (whom scred me out of a Kicker CompVr) that is selling online, buying direct from the JL rep, and JL has been told, again, nothing is done so I dont have a bit of remorse of the manufactuers when the cry and whine about unauthorized sales, when I have personally handed 10 or so TERRIBLE transhippers I have delt with over the years to them on a silver platter yet the remain online ripping people off, selling the same brands.......
