How do i get the right ohm load for my system?

    For now i have only 1 12" l7 dual voice coil 4ohm sub. and i have a 3000w max planet audio BB2400.1 monoblock class d amplifier. What do i do to get the right load?

    Is the amp 1ohm or 2ohm stable.

    With a 4ohm DVC you are only going to get a 2 ohm load but you'll be fine.

    Run the amp + speaker wire to both the subs + terminals and run the amp -speaker wire to both - terminals on your sub. This will give you a 2ohm load.

    please elaborate...

    what size wire do you have for the amp? and what are the amps settings at?

    Okay. I have 0/1 gauge power wire and ground wire, gain is at 3/4 of the way, the LPF is set to 80Hz and Bass boost is at the minimum 0. And my sub filter is set to the minimum also, 15 hz. And my bass level controller is at 0
