Ported box ---first time.

    Okay, so I recently ordered a system for my 04' Nissan Altima bc I got it for christmas and it should be coming in pretty soon. I was on a budget so I was not able to buy a pre made sub enclosure and I was told that the pre made ones arent that great most of the time anyways. I have a big dilemma though, I know that I definately want a ported one bc thats the style of sound that Im going for but after looking at some tutorials I really don't think I have any idea how to build one. Is there anyone here that would b willing to make one and I can buy it??? or maybe anyone here from North Carolina??? Im willing to meet up or take advice from anyone!!!

    If you go to home depot or lower and buy a sheet of 3/4in mdf they will make the cuts for you... some places will do all the cuts you want for free but some only do 3free and the rest at a 25cent rate... which isnt bad... the guys here will design you something then you just get the boards cut for you to put together its not that bad.

    I'm in Sanford. About 1 hour southeast of Raleigh. 45 minutes north of Fayetteville.

    also, i was reading about box designs today and I found out that there are some pretty strange designs. are any of those convenient to use or are they not worth it?
