anybody have this? i was helping my friend at his shop and he has it. ive been listening to it the past 2 days. its freaking awesome. just wondering what you pay a month i know xm is 9.99. Im thinking about getting this
personally i feel that sirius has very poor audio quality even compared to regular radio, but to each his own.... ears.
i have xm and it's not 9.99 its 12ish with taxes its all 14.95. not bad really. not too sure on sirius
alright. my friend told me it was 9.99. i rmemember when it started out at that price. now sirius is about the same price. speaking about the quality. around 3ish the same 2 days i listened the station kept cutting out. would this be because of the hot sun or whatever?
Chase this link and you will see how the satellites work and perhaps why you have 3ish deficiencies. I have had XM for 2 years. On my factory radio (Dodge Boston Acoustics) with an AUX-input, the sound quality is very similar to CD quality. My 56year old ears, perhaps damaged by too much loud rock music in the early years, cannot find a difference. (I won't argue there is not difference, but I cannot hear it and few of my contemporaries who are aflicted with the same loss of some frequencies cannot hear it.) I pay $12.95 for the first XM receiver and $6.99 for each additional one. The equipment is a bit too fragile to plug in and out every time you get in and out of the car. I think my total for 3 units is about $25 with tax and all - but given the quality of FM programming it is worth it to me.
I love sirius, last I heard the longer you subscribe the cheaper it gets, for example if you subsribe for 3 years you get a big break on the price. I think they are also still offering the lifetime membership for around $400, not bad! I've never had too much to complain about as far as audio quality. NFL radio is awesome and being able to listen to any NFL game you want from the home or away radio crew...priceless.
Hello Marko, you know this means that I'm no longer the old person. But seriously, I have XM in my car and personally I'm not that impressed, but my wife loves it. It just doesnt sound CD quality to me. But maybe its just me.
i've noticed that some channels dont have good quality but those arent music channels.the music channels I listen too sound just fine to me,and still way better than FM.
