    ok, yes that sounds like a nice size box to me. But eclipse is the amp and has basically nothing to do with the box and subs except how much power it's pushing.

    I ment the car. I have the hifonics 2006d amp only eclipse thing i have for my system is the deck

    i have a buddy with the 1600 watt hifonics.we tested it and got 1096 watts out of it.

    that was with a 40-50hz sweep.i'm sure it would have been more but his install aint the best.

    his amp aint even screwed down!and he's running 8 gauge wire to it.

    so dont scimp on your power wire.

    I don't plan to. Ever wire is going to be 0 gauge.

    What you want pics of? The alternator is going to be a tight fit so that might be hard to take a pic of. But I can take a pic of everything before install.

    Alright. Hopefully All goes well with one install. Its easy as ever to install a system since ive done it a zillion times and plus my old wires are still in my car This friday my wires are coming. all 22lbs of em.

    How did he get his amp tested? Im gonna guess and say he went to a audio dealer or something like that? Thats what I planned on doing to get my amp settings right.

    Also another thing coming in the mail today!!!! My wires. There freaking 22lbs. Thats a lot of wires. Or there just REALLY BIG Ive never had 0 gauge wire before. All 8 gauge.

    no we were at an audio show and met up with a guy there(one of the mods at floridaspl.com)he let me use his clamp meter and digital volt meter.

    to test it you play a test tone.use the clamp meter on your speaker wire to find out the amprage.and the dvm on your speaker wire's to get the voltage.

    for example.with a 50hz tone playing i got 9.2 amps at the speaker wires and 36volts from the amps speaker outs.

    Quick Question: Do I want the cd5000 or the cd7000. The guy I bought my 5000 from dont have it anymore and will give me the 7000. Is it worth it or should i try to find a 5000?

    Ok well I dont have my system all together so waiting isnt really a problem but How bout this link

    I know i should of said that before. but I kinda thought it would be obvious since I am already going to get a custom box, but I might be getting a different car. Kinda getting sick of my eclipse.
