Those would do a fine job, not as ood as others i have seen, but would work none the less.

The sensitivity is low, that is NOT good, but from the reading of the Vas and the Qts, they will work in a smmaller enclosure.

There are other drivers out there that will give you more boom for your buck.....If you are on a budget look at the drivers at parts express.......some VERY NICE things are there.....most folks dont realize that....

I saythis cause i like LOUD SQ my self.....it can be done. Electro...

You have a KICK ASS amp and tht is one of the basic building blocks for a quallity sytem...

Orion make s junk, make no misytake about it.......

Just like EVERY OTHER caraudio whore out ther.......

HAHA, it does look funny, i will be able to play music with this with a huge custom ported box right? I read a few places they are saying it's not for music, SPL only...

Do you think this is a good match viking? I wanted SQ not SPL.

Oh well, i'm stuck with it now. I think it will be great though, i mean how bad can it sound? It's a $1000.00 speaker i think, i didn't pay that much but still..

HAHA, look what viking is saying!! That is very solid amp, exactly what i've been wanting, for it to survive after frying that sub completely and still come back strong that's pretty cool. I can't wait to get some real power to it.

Just because the sub cost that much doesn't mean crap. I'll sell you my audiobahn subs for $10,000. If what you said is the case YOU MUST buy these because there 10g subs. They gotta be good.

that thing looks huge.how much did you get itfor?

Your reasoning is irrational lol, with electronics you basically get what you pay for, if they sell it for $1000.00 or more which i think it was, what do you think they are charging for? Wood and sticks? lol

    Just under $500.00 Pedro.

Audiobahn must be the worst car audio ever besides pyramid? How much did you pay for them? Assuming you bought them at a store, like i said usually, you get what you pay for give or take $50.00 here and there.

forget face ripping.go for internal bleeding.lol.how big does the box need to be for that sub?half the trunk or more.lol

when its all done you will know for sure where to put the sound deadner.

ugh, bassbox is giving me a hard time with the specs, but i got it into winisd.
122.531 db at 45 hz wohoooo lol 4 6 inch round ports and probably a pretty big box, want to save some trunk space so i will go higher than wider.

The FS - free air resonance of this sub is 45hz so i'm tuning the box to 45hz, is this the right way?

I might try playin around with a 35-40 Hz tuning....otherwise you will most likely have a fast roll off from 45 Hz....And be REAL PEAKY at the tuning frequency
