Can someone assist me? I hooked up my new amp and subs... power from battery with inline fuse, ground to body, remote wire from switched power source in fuse box with a rocker switch and inline fuse, ran speaker wires and spliced into rear speakers to subs.... everything worked fine but no sound from subs, I unplugged the speaker wires from the amp, as I put the positive in they worked but only the positive. When I put negative in they weakened, i left the negative out and was making sure all speakers worked when POP goes the amp, smoked ! I know I wired the app correct, could the speaker wire have blown it? Puzzled.
