New Pioneer mid-brand or used/entry level Focal speakers for better sound?

I have an Alpine CDE 120RR head unit and 2 channel retro Alpine 3540 amplifier.

The plan is that they will be driving a set of 13cm components in the front door of my 1998 Audi A4 (B5).

The doors will be deadened and the speakers have to be fixed to the door card with homemade MDF adapter rings.

My question is about speaker quality.

I have a set of new, un-used Pioneer TSG 132Ci component speakers (which cost me £50) to install, but I'm wondering if I should sell them on, add a bit more to the pot and consider some entry level Focal speakers like the Focal 130 A1 (new) or take a risk and buy a used set from higher up in the range?

I have heard nothing but good things about them but would I appreciate the difference with the kit I have?
