I went on crutchfield and it told me my front speaker size was 5.25in so I ordered a Polk Audio 5.25 Two-Way Component system. When I pulled out my old speakers and tried to fit these in the hole was bigger than my new speakers. What to do now? Was Crutchfield wrong?

    What to do now?

You return the size you bought and buy the size you need.

Before doing so, you pick up the phone and call the nearest or any Nissan dealer.

And if you need a number to call, ive got one for you, i use to work at a Nissan dealer my self.

They could be wrong yes, you could just buy an adapter plate and they'll work, but its up to you.

Crutchfield is a very good customer oriented company, give them a call.

I mean, I wouldn't have a problem buying an adapter plate, but what size do I need? Anyone know what size front speakers 04 altimas use?

Well, i assume you took the door panel off your altima. Why don't you measure the size of the speaker hole then we can recommend a speaker for it
