PG Component speakers

    Hey guys just wanted to let ya'll know about a sale on some PG Octane Speakers.

    Phoenix Gold Octane-R5.0 comp - 5-1/4" 2-Way Component System • 50 watts RMS • Injection molded aluminum plated grained polypropylene cone • Butyl rubber surround • Flat linear roll spider - , Car Speakers, 5-1, 4" Component Systems - Sonic Electroni

    I am prolly getting a couple sets of these because for 25 bucks DAMN...one set will come in handy for some rear speakers in my truck. The other set I'll prolly sell

    we should make a tread CHEAP AUDIO NET SALES or sumthing
    PG was the shyt in the day, they still make some good stuff though
    i may pick up a set, i have no use for them, but for 25 why not?

    yeah i know....I may get a set and make them into some bookshelf speakers for the garage or something ya know

    i know what you mean
    they are kinda lacking in power, id blow them in my car, even my stock bose amp would toast them lol
    but for bookshelf's theyd be fine

    so....for $100 you could get 2 subs and 2 sets of the pg's....nice to keep around and use as replacement stuff when changing cars so you can keep the good stuff....nice

    i read a good review on those pg's.the 6.5's though,but their the same.

    parts express has/had them for 38$.for the 6.5's

    if you are just using 1 sub then it needs to be 2x2 ohm...2x4 ohm will only get you to 2 ohm total- they would work if you are going to be using 2 subs

    nope
    its gonna take the place of my stock shallow mount sub in my rear deck
    gotta get close to 1 ohms with 1 sub haha
