I want to put 6.5" component speakers in my 6"x9" spaces in the rear. Do they make installation kits so 6.5" will fit? I found Scosche adapters but they aren't rated well for 6.5". Any other kits you know of?

I am currently not aware of any adaptors, but they very well could exist!

Another option for installing the 6's and tweets is to build a plate. very easy to do, just some 1/4 inch masonite, a jig saw, and a litttle time. Far cheaper and probably just as good or better than what you can buy.

Use the factory 6x9 as a template, trace it out on the masonite, then position the holes for your 6 and tweet on the plate, cut them out! its that easy! you can make the plate a little bigger than the factory speaker if needed to accomodate the speakers.
