Um...no.

My friend had an exhaust leak and it got into his cabin. My guess is that there is a leak

no ibanez this is not normal, this is usually caused by a leak or no gaskets on the header

When I put the header on my truck I used Copper Coat on the gasket. I sprayed it on both sides of the gasket, waited 10 minutes (waited for it to get tacky), sprayed on one more coat and assembled. Never had a problem with it. Now everything else was welded by the local Muffler Shoppe, (they're kind of fancy, they have tea and Gourmet Coffee in the customer waiting area.)

Odor in the car is way bad

Did they fit it to the existing exhaust, or does it dump in a new place now?

Fumes are bad.

The race header was temp put onto the stock exhaust.

It'll soon be part of a full custom exhaust. PICS SOON!

Yes I do and I love it. Definately not a powerhouse but a great motor. I wish I had an SVO motor, but it won't fit in the Ranger without a few mods. But thats also more work than I would wanna attempt anyway. I've done a couple minor mods to mine, a Comp Cam 252H, header and 3-inch exhaust (converter is still there) and replaced the 3.45 rear gear with a 3.73. I did all this back in 96.

Now, the SVO Mustang is one super tough car. In fact it was just as fast as the GT's of the same era. Does yours have the octane selector switch on the dash?

yes it does as a matter of fact, but it no worky, so my goal is to gain 500hp with it as well, and the truck sounds bad ass, throw a flowmaster 40 on it and it would sound like a V8

I think you might pull it off. There is an old boy out here that has a 82 Ford Fairmont race car with a 2.3 Turbo, C4 auto. It pulls down high tens in the quarter mile. I know of a lot of V8's that are slower.

He doesnt have a lot of money in it except for the turbo (SVO turbine section, Grand National Compressor Section and a modern ceramic impellor)
The only other money is the custom Blackstone Intercooler.

The car has 4.56 gears and I've road in it. It will grab your complete and undivided attention.
