The Curse Has Been Lifted

It looks like the Soxs finally did it. Congrats to them and a better luck next year for the Yanks.

They did a good job last night, but they haven't won it yet.

That was easily the most exciting LCS I've seen in my 30 years on the planet. From the manhandling the Yanks gave the Sox in games 1-3 (especially game 3) to the unbelievable heroics of Ortiz to the blowout of last night. As a native of SoCal, I have a genetic predisposition to disliking all things NY (well, geo is a good guy ).

Almost as exciting has been the Cards/Astros series.

Both these series make you forget about the NHL...you'd think the hockey players would be watching the MLB LCS and thinking, "Man, before MLB went on strike (strike and lockout are pretty much interchangeable in sports...imo), they were america's pastime. We're not america's pastime, and we're on strike. I wonder what will happen to us"

Anywho, Cards win tonight. Then the BoSox take the WS in 6.
