Why do people feel the need to drive next to eachother at 32mph on a road with a speedlimit of 40? i have to deal with this almost everyday on my way to work and it ****es me off... i need to get a truck with a realy good brush guard and just push them....

I''m annoyed simply by ignorance, whatever form that takes.

People driving are a continuous source.

Common sense sort of stuff -
For example - what is your turn signal for?
That''s right - it''s a communication device!
You use it in advance of turning or changing lanes, to let other drivers know you are about to do that...

NOT something that you put on after you''ve already gotten into the turning lane (by that time, I think we all know you are going to turn, retard!)...

NOT something that you put on after you hit the brakes (at that point, I''m wondering what is up... do I hit the brakes myself? What am I anticipating, being the guy behind you?)

NOT something that you put on halfway through a lane change, and make one blink with... it''s a little too late at that point isn''t it, retards?

By far the worst are people that drift from one lane to another, without using their signals... as if their car is guided by autopilot...
Almost as bad as people that "think" (I use that term loosely) that they drive fast... just cruising in the passing lane.

This preconceived, completely unjustified notion is never more observable than people that enter a highway - and immediately move over to the left hand lane, often quickly collecting tailgaters. Way to be, captain observation of the highway! You just earned the ignorance medal.

Or the biggest retardo move of all - actually tailgating someone that is crusing in the passing lane, when the right hand lane couldn''t be any more clear to pass them by with.

How can people so consistantly fail to engage the ''simple logic'' portion of their brains, I''ve always wondered.

1> When you see a sign that reads "Road Construction Ahead Left lane End 1mi Merge Right" that DOES NOT mean you have 1 mi to Merge, that means "GET THE **** OVER YOU DIP ****< YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE OTHER 5 SIGNS ON THE ROAD"

2> When talking on a cell phone while driving DO NOT merge left in to a Passing lane and then SLOW DOWN< unless ofcourse you would like to me rearend you and then Shove that Cell Phone Up your ASS

3> When going thru the drive thru know WHAT THE **** your going to order BEFORE pulling up to the Speaker. Wendy's ALWAYS has the SAME DAMN FOOD.. the menu is not going to change if your STARE at it DIP****.....

and that ends our broadcast day, Tune in tommorow for more :P

I'm right in line with Geo on this one. Imagine living in L.A. where there are 10 million people and they all own a car. Turning the blinker on after the lane change has to be my all time driving pet peeve. It's as if they're saying, "F You" with a smile. Passing on a lane in L.A....yeah, right. Too busy to even have the opportunity.

Confused clerks at gas stations/liquor stores who don't know basic math. If something is $1.76 and I give you $2.01, don't squint at it and raise your eyebrows. Just enter the amount in the register and hit enter. The math will make sense. I promise you.

Fast Food places that give you one packet of sauce with your 6 or 9 piece chicken nuggets. Those things probably cost the restaurant $.02 each. These places overlook things like timely service, well kept restaurants, and happy employees in place of saving a few pennies on dipping sauces. Idiots.

Parking lots at Best Buy. Every friggin spot is for compacts. We live in a SUV culture and Best Buy sticks with compact parking spots that are at 90 degree angles (I'm a huge fan of angled parking...45 degrees). Worse yet, if you decide to take your refrig/tv/entertainment ctr./ home yourself, you NEED a suv or big truck. Methinks it's a ploy to get the customer to pay an extra $50-$75 for delivery.

Kissing my wife. I have to hunch down so far that it's only a matter of time before I pull something. Why do I have to be so tall and her sooooooo short?
:P

I think what ****es me off the most, is when people leave their blinker on....

ohh it burns me up

That's an urban legend.

It's not illegal to pass on any side.
What's illegal is passing any vehicle, on either side, while exceeding the speed limit.

There's no law against passing a vehicle in any lane:
If there were... what would happen when you were cruising down the highway, at 55mph... and there were a car travelling at say, 45mph in the left lane? Slow down, don't pass them? Create a bottleneck in traffic? That would be unsafe... something that an officer, should he observe that you actually intentionally matched your speed, and created a traffic obstruction, could actually ticket you for, in reality.

Or, thinking along another line - then what of 3 lane highways? 4 lane highways?
These exist to distribute moving traffic among several lanes... not to bottleneck everyone up into one lane, leaving three for passing.

lol

actually it is a law, should I cite the indiana law, and find the new york law for you?

Passing on the right IS illegal,

As far as 3 lane highways, the 2 Right lanes are then considered "traffic" lanes with the 3 left lane the "passing" lane

Also it is NOT illegal to exceed the speed limit while passing, This exception was made in the case of 2lane (one each way) highways where tring to pass someone with only a 2-5mph differance would cause a saftey problem..
