Why is it that everyone I have done business with within the last couple weeks have ALL BEEN TOTAL IDIOTS?

EBAY (Mike will like this)

To replace my stolen head unit I bought a Sony CDX-C90 on E-Bay. Unfortunately the guy sent me a Sony XDP-4000X processor, and sent my CD player to the guy who was supposed to get the processor. But that is an understandable mistake. <_<

To replace my door handle (also from the break-in), I bought a whole set of E-bay for cheap. I was wondering why I haven't seen it yet. I now see an e-mail from the seller saying it was sent back to them. They now want $5 out of the $7.20 shipping to send it back to me. They said it was an "undeliverable address". When I won the auction, I sent a message telling them to make sure to put the suite number on it when shipping. Also they get shipping addresses from both E-bay and Pay Pal giving the correct address. But I know they forgot to put the suite number, which is why it was sent back. I told them I would pay it (after all, it is only $5), but that I wouldn't pay it again if it get's returned.

Bank

I ordered checks a while ago. I went back 2 weeks later, and the lady noticed she never ordered them, and finally put it in the system. I get a phone call that they are in, so I go to pick them up today. Unfortunately they aren't there. They sent them down to the bank in Medford Oregon. My address with them was changed over a month ago, and I ordered the checks up here. Why the hell would the send them down there? What idiots.

Clifford

I sent my Clifford alarm back for the 3rd time to Clifford. The first two times they sent me alarms that didn't work. After all this, plus getting broken into, I called them up and they said I could send it in and they would give me a new one. When I got ready to send it in, I had to verify the address. I asked again if I would get a brand new one, and was assured I would. I then get a call from them saying that they can't replace it with a new one unless it comes from an authorized dealer. I told them that when I bought it I worked for Circuit City (an authorized dealer at the time) as an MECP certified installer. But they said it has to come from an authorized dealer to be replaced by a new one. So now they are sending it back (after this being the third time I payed for shipping) and told me to bring it to the nearest dealer and tell them to send it back.

Infact I would call Clifford Back Directly, and speak with someone Hirer up and have them Pay for Return Shipping back to them for the Trouble
Also CC I beleive Keep good Records so I would contact your Old Employer and see if they can get you a copy of the Reciept, if you have one though there shoud be no issues

They can NOT deny Warranty Cliams because a Dealer is no longer Authroized... Against Federal Law, infact Denying them at all is debatable, but Denying based because a Dealer went out of biz, or dropped the line is illegal, no debate

They aren't denying a warranty claim. Their policy states that they replace damaged merchandise with refurbished product when it isn't sent to them by an authorized dealer. After their refurbished items not working twice (and a break-in), I requested a new unit. They said I couldn't send it in myself and get a new unit due to their policy. So it just means that I have to go through the local dealer. She told me to explain the situation to them, and that the dealer will send it in, and I won't have to pay shipping. It's more of a time frustration than anything. I was hoping to get the new one back in time to install it before Memorial Day Weekend as I am driving down to visit the parents. The same is true with the CD player.
