I agree... but only in part..
Nothing is more annoying than hearing some guy on his harley "hog" drive by...
On a main road that's actually about a mile outside your neighborhood...
And it's still so loud that you can't talk INSIDE your house...

Crotch rockets aren't typically THAT loud, even with their fancy carbon-fiber exhausts on them...

If you want a cool bike that won't diffuse you into the "harley" or "crotch rocket" clouds...
You can have my motorcycle for $50...
It is a 1979 Kawasaki KX400... pre-crotch rocket days.. It actually looks pretty cool... but I don't know how to ride (except in theory), I just bought it because I got it at an auction for about that... Come and get it!

Y'all ever heard a Ducati? (omg I start to sound ghetto-ish )

Standard they're silent. Carbon fibre tips and they sound like... a V8!!!!! Honestly!!! Too bad they're not reliable like Jap bikes.

But you can give me a 996 SP any day. :whackit:
