Anyone have experience with....

....brands like Peerless, Vifa, or Morel??? I'm looking into possibly piecing together a component set off of madisound.com since it could be done for so cheap. I'd like to hear if anyone has experience with any of these brands though, and if so, what drivers did they use???

BTW, which vifa tweeter is generally used in that DD/Vifa combo?

Chris, go ask ay SIN. I know a few guys over there have built their sets using this equipment.

Everyone that Ive seen on the forums that have used any of those drivers has loved them, I dont have any experience with these drivers myself though. The Tweeters that came with the DD6.6's where the Vifa xt25's . Also check out the Scan-Speak drivers.

I checked out the scan-speak stuff too, and most of it was pretty pricey. I'm trying to see what i can find for cheap, that'll blow away a $700 set. I'm not sure i'm gonna even make any changes, i've just always been curious as to what these type drivers would do in a car.

vifa midbass drivers are nice for the money
