I've heard good things about that sub as far as SPL goes...
I've heard bad things about that sub as far as SQ goes... but that's from the guy who had it in an SPL type install...

And on OZ's site, their specs are known to be way off, some of them deliberate lies.. so who knows? That's always been my problem with them, really...
I am sure that in reality the sub is very good...
But like almost everything in car audio, it's in the install...
I bet I could take that sub and make it sound very good, given free reign of the enclosure design...
And I could take that sub and make it very loud, no doubt, given free reign of the enclosure design.
The setup that you have listed there is going to be extremely bass-heavy...
I hope that Crossfire amp has a remote gain control, or your HU has a separately controllable subwoofer output on it, that would allow you to throttle it back at will.
Other than that comment, the equipment that you have listed has the potential to be very good, given the right install.
I take it that you listened to a bunch of different stuff, that's why you settled on these? I'm just noting that it's not the most popular brand/models.. either in bricks-and-mortar-land or in cyberspace.. wondering how you arrived at these choices?
