Well since I am gettin a new HU, having my system out in, I figured I might as well go ahead and change the factory speakers now too.

They will be run off a either an alpine 7893 or a Pioneer 740MP.
I dont think I will ever have an amp running my speakers but you never know what the future holds. I need 4 speakers for my civic. I would like to a Comp VR of the speaker world. Good price and good quality.

All I know that once everything is in it will be a massive project for the installers.....

Get some Infinity's!

Do it yourself! Save the money, and get the satisfaction knowing that you installed your system!

i agree....

infinitys are pretty good and look into crystals....

i think ID may make a cheaper set of comps....r even possibly the new focal line (acess). i think the coax. go for about 100 a pair.

Infinity does make some good coaxes. Crystal and ID would definitely worth be checking into, although i imagine they'd be more expensive.

If it were me, i would get one set of components or coaxes for the front, and a little 2 channel (50w x 2) or something instead of rear speakers. You wouldn't miss much music since your car isn't awfully big. Only reason i would consider rear speakers would be if you were planning on installing video or something, then they'd be needed for surround sound. Just my .02.

So are you reccomending that I leave the Rear Speakers alone?
What do you guys think about the kicker K-series?

Better yet, I have 100 for a pair of 6.5's.
Just tell me what to get since I dont feel like going through my whole and tedious sub choosing experience. I just couldnt choose.....

Yeah, ditch the rears and get a nice front with a possible amp.

Couldn't have put it better .

That's just what i'd do. That's what i did, and i don't miss the rear speakers at all. I just figured that when you have alot of people in your car, chances are you won't be listening to music very loud, so what's the need for speakers back where they are? I only listen to music loud when i'm by myself, or there's only one other person in the car.
