Alphasonik?

alphasonik car audio? ever heard of them? are they good?

and...will the POWER ACOUSTIK OV1-2000D (OV12000D) MONO-Channel 2000W GOTHIC Series AMPLIFIER and KICKER 06S12L54 L5 12" 1200W SOLO-BARIC WOOFER work good together..and pound pretty hard?

i can tell you the PA 3000 will pound the hell out of a 15in sub.actually 2 of them strapped together will.

check this out.6 PA 3000d's on 3 Fi 15's

oh also i had a PA LT980 running an L5 10in at 8ohms and it did a really good joob at it.heres a pic.the other amp is the 4ch LT960

i was wondering about the Alphasonik brand because they have a 12" sub rated at 900watts rms for 169$

Back in my day, they were average at best. they did nothing exceptional and nothing out of the ordinary, they were an asverage lower end amp. Of course like all others they claied to be the greatest thing since sliced bread on a stick.

Dont know about them today, i would venture to guess they are still average and nothing too special about them. They worked and did fine back in the day....you got almost got what you paid for, at a slightly high price......

Again, today (11 years later) i dont know.....just my 1 cent on it.

I am sure it would do a great job...but its all in the install buddy....bottom line, especially the box

prefab boxes suck balls...i would give a 12L7 atleast 2.5 cu ft ported

that alpha sub will NOT handle 900 watts rms...overrated, i've give it a good 600 watts and call it a day

yeah 900 watts of bass is ALOT.hell even 600 like azn said is alot.my kicker is now running on roughly 450 watts rms. and it hammers.i'm running a kicker box built for my sub.it peaked at 45 volts on my meter on music.now thats alot of juice. at 2ohm mono.

they make this box for the 12 also.THAT would be the only prefab i would consider.
