hey guys... long time no see right? I've been busy at school and everything, and i'm fixing to move back home for the summer.. but anyways, here's some pics of my car. it's got 210k miles, so i haven't done **** to the outside of the car. i'm gettin a 2000 tahoe this summer, and i'll be sure to make that **** look good. i installed the **** myself, so it ain't fiberglass or anythin crazy.

the mb quarts premium seriers in the rear doors, tweeters custom mounted..
i wanted it to look real low-profile

the alpine dvd player, the red in the pic is the flash from the camera

5 1/4" MB quarts custom mounted in a 4x10 slot

rockford fosgate 1501bd amp (1500+ watts RMS to brahmas) and a ****ty capacitor.. i'm gettin a 5 farad lanzar cap this summer

the JL 300/4

Brahmas in a small sealed box. sounds real crisp and LOUD.. ported box was too damn loud, and this box sounds diiirrrty (thanks geolemon!)

brahma up close

brahma at 33hz

33hz again..

well that's it, in ain't flashy, but she'll get loud enough.

Question... What Db do you guys think I should be hitting with this? I'm not sure how big the box is, I could check that out soon enough. If I got a ported box for the subs, is there any way that the subs would sound more crisp but louder? I'm probably going to stick with the sealed box for now.

Those are 10's right? If you want more volume with your current power try a larger sealed box, should increase the db's w/o realy losing any of the crispness... a properly designed ported or vented box would do well too just don't go out and buy something pre-fab... damn mas-produced boxes...

btw... is dirty a good thing now?? how did i miss this little linguistic shift????

I'm pretty shure those are 12"s, the have more cone than my 10"s
I just got a pair of sealed boxes for my 10" brahmas. So crisp and so clean clean. I love my Brahmas! So transparent they come out of nowhere.
