Jl Audio Questions

can jl audio cross check serials to find out where the amp was purchased from?

i got my friends amp he got from ebay a while back and its like got a thermal protect problem. so im selling it on ebay as is. they say it might be under warranty but i need to know who sold it to me. i dont know who on ebay even sold it. This is all to help out a person interested in buying it from ebay. I would never put garbage like jl in my car. :P

if you got any info, help me out please

JL can, and Will run a trace on the Serial if they Know it was from ebay, then that dealer will get a not so freindly phone call or visit.....

however it probally wll not help the buyer, it all depends on what kind of mood the tech guys are in whether or not they apporve the warranty, they are under no obligation to...

the would not be if you bought it personally from the store down the street,

warranties are non transferable
