I usually don't, but it's because I have to do an additonal click (no really, read on). I don't like waiting, however short it is, for the news bulletin to pop up. If I'm not interested, I then have to click back, and re-enter the audio forum. For me, it would be better if on the main page, where it has "12 Volt News" followed by

*Here you will find the Most upto date new from across the 12volt industry, We pull News dats from many sources including a few not open to the general public, so check here often for the latest updates*

it instead had the the title of the story and the first few sentences, followed by a ... where the user would click to read the whole story. That way you don't have to enter the next page only to find out there's a story you're not much interested in.

I know my complaints are petty and shallow, but it IS my surfing habits to click as little as possible. It's not even really a conscious thing, I just do it...

Anyways, the USACI model calendar DOES get my attention, though...

BTW, when does the completed s4s open?

1> there is NO WAY to do what you want with out having it do that for EVERY forum on the site, or rewriting the souce of the softeware for just the forum, the latter I will not do (be my guest if you have the time) the former is just not what I want-- as the qoute you posted is the desc for the 12volt new forum, inside the forum there are many manyposts, just like this one

2> I have never seen anysite like what you described

and the completed s4s is open, that is they way it will bee for a very very very very long time

The front/homepage for

Sound Illusions

Headline>>>first few sentences>>>link for complete story.

Oh well, just a thought...

I didn't think it would be that much extra effort...guess I was wrong.

That is not what I thought you were talking about

I can do that is make it BETTER, anything you can see on SI I can do 100X better

but I can not make it appear like that on the FORUMS main pages

when I finalize the "homepage" for CAT (which will be at www.caraudiotalk.com) it will be similar to that
