Im looking for a single 10" that will sound nice and provide a nice amount of bass nothing too fancy will this be a good choice?

I have a CROSSFIRE 1000D so it would only give it 500RMS since its a single 4 ohm sub...(CRYSTAL CMP10)

Do they work good in small ported or sealed boxes? What size of box is good for these for SQ?
