Flip Screen Parking Brake Wiring

Alright i know its unlawful and bla bla...but is there a way I can bypass it...I have a manual transmission dunno if that means anythin...but can I just ground the wire to something and then trick it to think that its connected to the parking brake? I don't want to watch movies while I drive but while i'm sitting with the car idling etc...it wont let me watch dvds...how do i bypass this or trick it?

I have a pioneer avh-p5700dvd.

It wont let me save the diagram but maybe I can word it out....

There is a light green wire coming out of the harness it is designed to detect the parked status of the car. It says it needs to be connceted to the power supply of the parking brake switch.

Then the ground of the parking brake switch needs to be connected to the system control terminal of the power amp or auto antenna relay control terminal...aka the remote turn on wire?

let me know if that makes sense...and what I can do...

Could just ground the wire with a switch to control it...what we did to my friends pioneer...exact same one as you have....just mount a switch inbetween the ground wire where you want it...then it will work while driving

No power wire...just a switch inbetween the ground wire...presto...you have tricked the dvd player in thinking that you are parked

Turned off...only turn it on whenever you wanna watch a dvd...really it won't hurt anything but its just cooler to have it off and be able to flip a switch

Why in the world would anyone want to drive a car and watch a DVD.

Are you out of your mind? Why not just drink a case of beer and drive through a school zone?

I've never heard anything so stupid and irresponsible in a while. I only hope that when you wreck your car you don't hurt anyone else.
