HU having trouble playing a CD-RW

I bought these new Memorex 4x CD-RWs. They look different, they have a new design on the top. I've been using 4x Memorex for 18 mths. Every so often my HU (1 yr. old Alpine) stops playing this CD-RW for 1-2 seconds but it plays the rest of my older Memorex CDs fine. I think I've burned this one twice, too and tried it. Funny thing is this CD-RW plays fine on my PC. Not sure if it's my HU or the CD. I guess I'll have to experiment some more with these CD-RWs. (I won't even go near the Ultra Fast Memorex CD-RWs again, my burner doesn't want to read them. So I bought a new Plextor burner this week, too.)

What program are you using to burn the CDs? Does it skip on the same song?

I think I used Cheetah and Easy CD-DA. I've used Cheetah for over a year with great success. All my CDs I use in my car I've burned with Cheetah.

No, the stopping is random throughout the whole CD like the car hit a bump or something.

I always recommend CD-R's for car CD Players. I have found that CD-RW's can occasionally cause strange unexplainable problems
