wiring issue???

I recently replaced my jvc head unit. I had my 500w amp connected through the power antenna and everything worked great. But that unit went bad and I bought a Sony xm ready unit and connected it just the same way but now am having troubles. The stereo runs through the amp just fine but the cd part of it does not. What color wire should I be looking for behind the stereo harness to connect-no markings on the harness.

I connected the remote wire to the solid blue power antenna wire.

I forget which is which, but you will have a blue, AND, a blue / white wire, one is amp remote, the other is for the power antenea, you have it hooked to the wrong one, switch it!

by the stereo working through the amp do you mean radio? and no cd throughput? probably the wrong rem wire will not fix that... either one will work if it kicks on the amp, you could even fuse a line from a power wire at 3-5amps and use that if nessescary.
